Job Title: High-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
Location: Slough, Berkshire

As a High-Level Teaching Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the educational development and well-being of our students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the classroom teacher in the delivery of lessons, providing support and guidance to students as needed.
- Lead small group activities and interventions to reinforce learning objectives and provide targeted support to students.
- Assist in the planning and preparation of teaching materials and resources.
- Contribute to the assessment and monitoring of student progress, providing feedback to teachers and adapting support strategies accordingly.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and supported.
- Provide pastoral care and support to students, promoting their social, emotional, and academic development.
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other staff members to ensure the holistic development of students.
Requirements:
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent).
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a school setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
- A passion for education and a commitment to supporting the learning needs of all students.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Knowledge of relevant educational policies and procedures.
- Ability to adapt to the needs of individual students and differentiate support accordingly.
- A proactive and flexible approach to work, with the ability to use initiative and problem-solving skills.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
