Hearing Impairement SEN Teaching Assistant - Hounslow, West London - Full time - September 2021 start!
Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for a number of SEN specialists to work within a range of schools across the West London borough.
What will this role entail?
- Work with a number of students with hearing impairments, providing one to one support.
- Support students within their HI unit within their mainstream primary setting, working closely with the class teacher & fellow support staff.
- Amend all work set to accomodate to their needs, including working with third party specialists.
- Promote the inclusion of all pupils, ensuring they have equal opportunities to learn and develop.
- Be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people within the school.

Our supportive and welcoming school in Hounslow is looking for an additional SEN Teaching Assistant to join the team due to expansion. This challenging but extremely rewarding role will require you to support a variety of students with HI pupils 1:1, in small groups and as part of a larger class. Class sizes are small and the curriculum is personalised, to significantly enhance the quality each child’s education.
PLEASE NOTE: This role is not immediately permanent; however there is an opportunity of gaining a permanent contract with the school through an introduction with Teaching Personnel.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
