Health Care Assistants required for School - Hayes

Job description

We are currently working with a special primary school in Hayes, West London seeking care workers and healthcare assistants to work at the school on a long term basis. This school caters for children with complex learning needs including autism spectrum condition. The role involves supporting children with learning and overall support in the classroom and throughout the school day.

Ideally, successful applicants will have previous experience supporting primary aged children with special needs and medical conditions. However, the school offers regular training for those who may not hold experience in this area.

The school will accept applicants with the below backgrounds:

  • Healthcare Assistant
  • Care Workers
  • Nursing
  • Palliative Care

Training in Moving and Handling, PEG feeding and personal care would be an advantage to your application.

This is a great opportunity for those who want to develop in role and has high potential of leading into a permanent contract.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
