Health & Social Care Teacher
Manchester

Teaching Personnel have an exciting opportunity for a Health and Social Care Teacher to join our Ofsted Outstanding client school in central Manchester.

  • Salary to match MPS/UPS (£23,720 - £39,406)
  • Temporary, part time role, 0.75 contract/ 3.5 days per week
  • KS4 and KS5 Health and Social Care
  • Immediate start through to the end of the academic year (July 2019)
  • Ofsted Outstanding secondary school in central Manchester

Due to a staff resignation, our client school in central Manchester now has a temporary vacancy for a Health and Social Care Teacher to join the school from March - July. This is temporary position working on a week A and week B timetable with 3.5 days per week. We are looking for a teacher that has experience in teaching KS4 and KS5 Health and Social Care and will be able to support students through their GCSE examinations.

Once established in the school, the successful teacher will be expected to undertake full teaching responsibilities including setting and marking work, attending parents' evenings, covering break duties and covering registrations when required.

We are looking for someone who is able to commit to the full period of this role (March - July) without any other commitments throughout. This role has an immediate start date and therefore all Health and Social Care teachers interested are encouraged to apply without hesitation.

The school has been judged to be Ofsted Outstanding in all categories and Outstanding for overall effectiveness and continues to be one of the most well-respected and oversubscribed schools in the area.
