Teacher of Health and Social Care required in Scarborough - 2019
Daily rates of pay between £120 and £199*

Teaching Personnel are working with a client Post 16 provision in Scarborough, to appoint a Health and Social Care Teacher with the ability to plan and deliver across Levels 1, 2 and 3. A background knowledge of Functional Skills would be beneficial, however this is not essential. I am currently seeking a forward thinking Teacher who can begin in February 2019, however for the right person, a start date can be negotiated. Within this position you will need to differentiate your lessons according to the abilities of students. There is likely to be MLD, ASC or SEMH within the classes, however there are Learning Support Practitioners on hand to help within lessons.

The ideal candidate will possess a true passion for education and the ability to create and deliver stimulating and rewarding lessons. A commitment to academic excellence across the ability range through progressive teaching and learning styles is required. The provision in Scarborough is making excellent progress with their reputation and are looking to build upon their recent success. They are graded by OFTSED to be Outstanding, part of a Group of Colleges and Alternative Provisions.

Teaching Personnel requirements:
* QTS or Overseas equivalent
* Evidence of strong behaviour management skills
* Track record of good teaching ability and planning/preparing lessons
* Commitment to develop the personality, talents and abilities of all students
* Confident and positive approach to working with children
* Are pro-active team members, committed to raising standards and achievement?
* Have a strong and creative teaching ability
* Keen to learn and develop professionally
* Have a passion for education
* NQT's are very welcome to apply
* A current Child Only DBS registered with the update service or a DBS application done through Teaching Personnel
