**TEACHING PERSONNEL PAY TO SCALE FOR ALL LONG TERM TEACHING ROLES **
ARE YOU AN EXPERIENCED HEALTH AND SOCIAL CARE TEACHER? ARE YOU NEWLY QUALIFIED TO TEACH HEALTH AND SOCIAL CARE?
Teaching Personnel are seeking a committed and driven teacher of Health and Social Care for a well-established secondary school in Birmingham. The position is to begin after the Easter holidays until the end of the academic year in July.
The ideal candidate will be punctual, reliable, hard-working and looking to encourage and support the learning of the young people to KS3 and KS4 level. If successful, the perfect candidate will have a vast understanding of their subject and thrive in a supportive school community with a well-developed humanities department. This role is perfect for an exerienced teacher of Health and Social care looking for something new as well as newly qualified Health and Social Care teachers.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
- UK Teacher qualification with QTS
- DBS certification
- Experience teaching Health and Social Care at KS3 and KS4 level (KS5 also desirable)
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Planning and executing lessons on a daily basis
- Vast understanding of the Health and Social Care curriculum
- Excellent front of class management and general behaviour management
- Understanding of safeguarding protocols and procedures
- Passion for Health and Social care

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
