We are currently seeking a qualified Health & Social Care Teacher to work within a large secondary school in Plymouth. This role is to start in October 2018 and would suit either an NQT or experienced teacher.

The Health & Social Care department within this school needs someone who is adaptable and passionate about their subject specialism. Your main responsibility in this role will be delivering Health & Social Care lessons to classes of KS4 and KS5 students.

This subject is very popular within this school for 14 - 19 year olds. To be considered for this opportunity you should have:

- a teaching qualification PGCE or equivalent (QTS)

- the ability to quickly build positive relationships with both staff and students

- strong subject knowledge of the curriculum

In order to work for Teaching Personnel and clear our vetting process, you must have a Child Workforce DBS subscribed to the Update Service. Full assistance will be provided should you need to apply for a new check, at a standard cost of £44, plus an annual subscription fee of £13 for the Update Service.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
