This 'Outstanding' London school are looking for a current outstanding science practitioner with at least some departmental leadership experience. The school will accept applications from a current Head of Science or Second in Charge of Science (2i/c Science) who can show they have the ability to make a positive impact on the science department.
To be successful in your application you must be an inspirational science teacher looking to take on increased responsibility or a current professional Head of Science. The Head of Science will require you to have the confidence to show your leadership qualities and be able to motivate staff in your team and train colleagues effectively. As a Head of Science you must have the ingenuity to provide an inclusive learning experience and a natural and friendly communicative working practice.


The school from Year 9 upwards teach single science up to IB level and will readily accept applications for this Head of Science post from any exceptional teacher of Physics, Chemistry or Biology. The school also offer Additional Science as an option for other pupils but all have the benefits of the splendidly refurbished science block. The school also provide all staff with a wonderful setting to teach and develop their careers.


This inclusive secondary school is found in London and is 4 minute walk from a local rail station which connects to all areas of South West London. The high quality of teaching and leadership, coupled with the positive atmosphere that flows through the hallways have led to the school gaining an extremely positive reputation in the area and an increased popularity. It is considered to be a 'Good' learning environment and provides exceptional training from a range of expert practitioners.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
