Enthusiastic, hard-working, highly motivated TA2 to join expanding TA team for 1:1 support throughtout KS2 in Miles platting M40

  • working 1:1 with children with complex SEN (eg ASD, communication and language delay, developmental delay, social and emotional needs, sensory impairment)
  • organised, efficient have initiative and a sense of humour

Possibility of a School based contract:

We are looking for an enthusiastic, hard-working, highly motivated TA2 to join expanding TA team. We are a vibrant two-form, multi-cultural inner city school in Miles Platting, with state of the art facilities and a friendly and supportive staff team.

If you:

  • have experience of working in a primary school
  • have experience working 1:1 with children with complex SEN (eg ASD, communication and language delay, developmental delay, social and emotional needs, sensory impairment)
  • have patience and understanding of children with complex needs
  • have high expectations of children in terms of learning and behaviour
  • can see the bigger picture of how a child with SEN's needs can be met in a mainstream school
  • can demonstrate the impact you have had on children's progress
  • are organised, efficient have initiative and a sense of humour
  • have good IT skills
  • can demonstrate the impact you have had a child's progress and development

- Read Write Inc Phonics experience (Training will be offered)

- Opportunity for a permanent contract in the future

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
