An 'Outstanding' secondary school in Barnet is looking for Teaching Assistant (TA) to start in September. As a Teaching Assistant, you will be working in an exciting and rewarding environment supporting inspiring pupils. The school is well resourced with a fun, supportive and highly specialised team providing high quality support for their pupils. The successful Teaching Assistant will ideally have secondary experience working with children, as well as supporting pupils with additional learning difficulties. You will be expected to develop strong and positive relationships with staff and pupils. As a teaching assistant you will be supporting the pupils to enhance learning and encourage them to become independent learners as well as providing educational, welfare and therapeutic support for pupils with a range for learning needs.
We are seeking someone who:
- Minimum qualification - Degree
- Creative , confident , professional personality
- Commit to traveling to New Barnet
- Have a genuine interest in the development of children
- Have experience supporting children with additional learning difficulties
- Be resilient and be use their initiative
- Work well in a team and can take on board criticism positively
