I am working very closely with a rapidly improving Secondary school in the Pontefract area who is looking for confident and enthusiastic graduates that are looking for work on a daily, flexible basis. The role in question would be a Cover Supervisor where you are leading classes and delivering pre-planned work across a range of subjects. This is a very rewarding role as it allows you to gain paid work experience within the classroom before starting your teacher training.

This is a very exciting time to be at the school with a lot of change and improvements happening throughout. The school have joined a Multi Academy trust consisting of 2 Secondary schools and 8 primary schools creating opportunities to work across the entire trust. I currently have a number of teachers and cover supervisors working throughout this trust who are getting on very well and potentially going onto permanent contract or starting their teacher training in September.
