Graduate Tutors
Job description
This vacancy has now expired. Please see similar roles below...
Teaching Personnel are currently looking to recruit graduate tutors on behalf of secondary schools located across the Darlington area.
Following the school closures earlier in the year, several of our client schools have identified pupils that require additional support to enhance their progress within key subjects (especially Maths, English and Science). To ensure pupils catch up efficiently, many of our schools wish to provide pupils with tailored support from graduates or experienced tutors.
As an academic tutor you will be required to deliver tuition to pupils aged 11-16 within subjects such as Maths, English and Science, whereby your key aim will be to support and enhance individuals learning and development.
You will receive full support from the schools to deliver set resources to pupils who are not currently achieving their expected grades. This is a rewarding role where you will have the opportunity to have a real impact on pupil’s development and learning.
Whether you are an experienced tutor or a recent graduate considering a career in teaching further down the line, we welcome all applications.
**All applicants must have previous experience either working in a education based environment or providing tuition to secondary aged pupils, ideally in Maths, English or Science**
- Full and part time opportunities available
- Delivering Maths, English and Science tuition
- Number of opportunities available across our client schools in Darlington
- Earn up to GBP375 per week
A number of schools wish to action tuition plans from October, therefore interested applicants are encouraged to apply soon as possible.
For immediate consideration for one of our academic tutor roles, please send an updated CV highlighting your previous tuition or school-based experience ASAP.
All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Please see teachingpersonnel.com/faqs for details.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. We offer all our registered candidates FREE child protection and prevent duty training. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Full assistance provided.
