Graduate Teaching Assistants- Primary schools - Salford
A Primary school in Salford are seeking a number of Graduate Teaching Assistants. These full time Graduate Teaching Assistant roles are required to start as soon as possible until the end of the academic year and beyond.
These positions represent outstanding opportunities for Graduates to work as Teaching Assistants at a Primary school prior to potentially joining them on a permanent basis thereafter or going on to do teacher training.
Responsibilities-
- Using the knowledge obtained from your degree to support in class
- Providing 1-to-1 and small group support to help raise the attainment and progress of identified pupils across all years.
- Ensuring any behavioural problems and apathy to learning is overcome by effective engagement of the pupils.
The school:
Our partner Primary school a larger than the average-sized with 330 pupils on roll. The biggest ethnic groups within the school are White British, Black and Black British African. The proportion of disadvantaged pupils eligible for the pupil premium is above the national average.
It is located on the outskirts of Salford and Manchester city centre (5 minute drive) making it extremely accessible for those requiring public transport also.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
