Position: Business Studies Teacher

Location: Manchester Area

Start Date: January

We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Studies Teacher to join one of our partner school in the Manchester area. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the education and development of young minds, preparing them for the challenges and opportunities of the business world.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in accordance with the school’s curriculum and policies
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and achievement
  • Assess and provide constructive feedback on student progress, maintaining accurate records of their academic performance
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies
  • Stay up-to-date with developments in the field of business studies and incorporate relevant industry examples into lessons
  • Support students in their personal and academic growth, providing guidance and mentorship as needed
  • Communicate regularly with parents/guardians to discuss student progress and address any concerns
  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and other school-related activities as required

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Studies or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification
  • Proven experience teaching Business Studies at the secondary level
  • Excellent knowledge of the subject matter, curriculum frameworks, and assessment methods
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential
  • Dedication to continuous professional development and staying updated with educational practices
