A fantastic and inclusive coeducational secondary school close to the centre of Manchester is currently looking to recruit a Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their support team ASAP on a full-time temporary basis! If possible, the secondary school would like to meet the successful Graduate Teaching Assistant before the Christmas break ready to start your new role in January. You will be required until the end of the this academic year (July 2020!)

What will the Graduate Teaching Assistant role entail?

• Assisting class teachers with lesson preparation including creating materials and setting up the classroom
• Reviewing lesson materials with identified pupils in small groups  who require additional support with their studies e.g. lower ability students and those with mild SEN
• Opportunity to provide tuition in your degree / subject specialism
• Working inline with the school’s policies including behaviour management when necessary
• Acting as a positive role model and learning mentor to pupils aged 11-16, helping them reach their full potential.

-          Starting January 2020 and likely to be required until July 2020

-          Earning GBP285 a week!
