Graduate Teaching Assistant Required - Greater Manchester

Teaching Personnel are recruiting on behalf of a number of SEN schools accross Greater Manchester who are looking for recent Graduates to take up Teaching Assistant roles within their EYFS, KS1, KS2, KS3 and KS4 teams on a part-time and full-time basis starting in September.

The schools are looking for recent graduates who have achieved a 2:1 grade or higher and are looking to begin their career in education. The successful candidate will work alongside Teachers and may also work alongside the Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator to assist a handful of children with a range of SEN. Ideally, applicants will have prior experience supporting learners with additional needs; however, training and support will be provided where necessary.

The roles available are due to start after October hal-term for day to day, short and longer term work. There may be the opportunity for extensions for the right candidate.

Ideal applicants must be willing to travel to schools on short notice and will be able to cover across each year group.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
