Graduate Teaching Assistant job for Secondary school in September 2021 at Ofsted rated ‘Outstanding’ school –Salaried route into teaching available after year long supply placement at the school.
Graduate Teaching Assistant position working in a mainstream Secondary school in Acton – September 2021 start.
- Rate: GBP75 per day.
- Location: Acton.
- Role: Graduate teaching assistant role working in a mainstream secondary school.
Teaching Personnel are looking for a Teaching Assistant who is a graduate who will be able to support students at Secondary school in Acton – working in a school providing support from September 2021. The positions would suit someone with a recent degree and strong A Levels, or someone looking to build up their experience across a year long placement at a school ahead of pursuing a career in education.
You will be starting in the school from September, working closely with the Head of Department and the SENCO. You will be supporting students from year 7 through to year 11, you will experience GCSE teaching so this role would be ideal for anyone looking to progress into teaching in the future. You will support in class but also work with students in small targeted intervention groups.
We are looking for outstanding practitioners and team player, who enjoys working with young people, has a desire to contribute to the development of the schools and has:
• A passion for children's learning and development;
• High aspirations for all children and a desire to raise standards;
• High aspirations for themselves and a commitment to further development.
Requirements:
• A particular subject strength (maths, science, humanities etc).
• The drive and stamina to exceed school expectations and targets.
• Strong subject knowledge.
• Strong communication skills both written and verbally.
• Must be able to pass a DBS check.
• Proof of career history from the last 6 years.
• Able to provide 3 career related references.
• Experience of teaching KS3-KS5.
