Are you a recent Graduate looking to take your first step in your career in Education? Do you love working with young people?

Are you planning on embarking on to teacher training and need to gain some long-term, vital classroom experience beforehand?

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting graduates for Grad Teaching Assistant opportunities at primary schools across the Gwent area. We have fantastic opportunities for enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistants with a 2:1 or higher to start work as soon as possible. You will be responsible for helping teachers organise their classroom, deliver classes and help students with their class work running numeracy and literacy interventions in small groups.

If you come from a Psychology, Sociology, English or Maths background this opportunity would be perfect for you!

The Role:

  • Support Teachers in planning, preparation and delivery of lessons
  • KS2 support across all subjects
  • Keen to get involved with all areas including after school clubs, music or cooking
  • Support children 1:1 (if necessary)
  • Confident and show initiative
  • 5 days a week or on a part time basis
