  • Must hold a Degree level qualification to be considered for this position.
  • Any previous experience working with young people will be highly advantageous.
  • Earn up to £1200 per month.

The Senior Leadership Team(SLT) at this well respected secondary school are seeking to recruit several enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistants to provide additional support to pupils across the school on a intervention, group and general support basis. Due to the nature of the role, general cover responsibilities will also apply, where required at the discretion of SLT.

The responsibilities for the incoming Graduate Teaching Assistants will include;

  • Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis, in intervention led groups and alongside the class teacher.
  • Deliver pre-set lessons in the absence of the class teacher at the discretion of Senior Leadership Teams.
  • Work with pupils at all levels of learning, promoting an inclusive learning practice.
  • Positively manage behaviour in class in accordance to School Behaviour Policies.

Located in Salford the school has just over 700 pupils on roll, aged 11-16, is ideally situated to be accessed via the M60/A580 (East Lancashire Road), as well as the surrounding areas; Bury, Bolton and Wigan. There are also excellent public transport links readily available.
