Teaching Personnel are currently partnered with a mixed secondary school based in Sheffield who are looking to appoint two Science graduates to work in their Science departments as Science specialist Teaching Assistants, in the new academic year starting September 2018.

This larger than average school are continuing to develop through the guidance of their supportive senior leadership team and the incoming Science Teaching Assistants can expect to join a supportive staff team.

  • Full time Science Teaching assistant positions - Sheffield, September 2018.
  • Science subject specialism is essential; any additional experience within a classroom setting would be advantageous.
  • Flexibility to work with a variety of age ranges, abilities and backgrounds.
  • Support the class teacher, working 1:1, in small intervention groups and deliver pre-planned lessons; where applicable, with full guidance and support.
  • Earn up to £1000-£1200 Per Month.

This is a fantastic opportunity for any Science graduates who are looking to increase their experience in school, working with children prior to a possible teacher training course. All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
