Graduate Teaching Assistant - required in Bolton based secondary school

Have you recently graduated and are looking to pursue a career in teaching?

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting graduates and aspiring teachers on behalf of one of our client secondary schools located in Bolton who are looking to expand their support team. This role will be on a full time temporary basis, initially until the end of the academic year, and to begin immediately. With examination season approaching, our client school located in Bolton have a need for additional teaching assistants who can support the learning of their pupils in preparation for summer examinations.

  • Earn between £1000 - £1200 per month

Graduate Teaching Assistant job responsibilities:

As a graduate teaching assistant you will have the opportunity to influence the learning and development of pupils aged 11-16. The successful applicants will hold the following responsibilities;

  • Support pupils who struggle to engage within lessons and require additional support within their studies
  • Provide KS3 and GCSE tuition sessions across a range of subjects including Maths, English and Science.
  • Lead small classes and deliver pre set revision resources

The school is located on the outskirts of Bolton and is easily accessible via the M61 for drivers and close to public transport links via Bolton town centre.
