Teaching Assistant

At Teaching Personnel, we work with various Primary schools in the Bridport area who are seeking confident and hard-working Teaching Assistants to work with their pupils.

Both full time and part time positions are available, with the option for regular but flexible work to fit around your availability. We are looking for candidates to start as soon as possible.

Responsibilities for this role will include:

• Providing support to the class teacher, ensuring that all students understand the work that is being set and will be there to give guidance to pupils when necessary.
• Delivering activities on a one-to-one or small group basis and ensuring you understand the individual needs of each pupil.
• Ensuring children are engaged in their learning and assisting with behaviour management of pupils.

Requirements for this role include:

• Having a passion for working in Primary education and helping children to reach their full potential.
• You will have some previous experience working in education/working with children.
• Being an enthusiastic and resilient individual who would be able to adapt to a number of roles and situations.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
