Graduate Teaching Assistant

Are you a Maths, English, Psychology or Languages graduate and potentially thinking about teacher training in the future?

Ideally, you be enthusiastic, caring and are looking to make a career out of education/teaching. If you have a strong academic background and have experience of working in a primary school previously, we would love to hear from you!

You would be supporting learning in Maths, English and SPAG specifically in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. If you are looking to complete a PGCE or further your career into teaching, this would be a great opportunity for you.

Highlights of the role:

*Full time Teaching Assistant position (English, Maths and Spelling and Grammar)

*Small group work and interventions with Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 children.

*Ideal post for graduates wanting a career in teaching/education

*Supportive, young, lively staff and school support network

*Salary (GBP285 GBP325 a week)

Ideally you will understand the nature of the children and will have a nurturing approach to teaching and learning, able to manage challenging behaviour and work with children with social, emotional and mental health needs.
