Graduate Teaching Assistant job in Barnet

Job description

Teaching Assistant (TA) needed to help provide exceptional learning and support to secondary age pupils with a wide range of needs including moderate learning difficulties, communications difficulties and autistic spectrum disorders.

There are roles to start immediately as well as roles for a September start.

This school requires energetic and dedicated people that can demonstrate a good understanding of the concepts and principles of Autism and SEMH and apply this to allow students to achieve their full potential.

Candidate:

  • Secondary school based experience (KS3 & KS4)
  • Must have a degree (Masters is Ideal)
  • Energetic and dedicated with an engaging personality
  • Ability to build strong relationship
  • Team Teach trained is ideal but not required
  • Safeguarding Level 2 trained

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
