Are you a recent graduate passionate about education and making a difference in young people’s lives?

We’re looking for committed Graduate Teaching Assistants to join one of our outstanding school partnerships in Bristol.

This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates considering a career in teaching, education, psychology, or youth work.

 We have positions in the following areas:

-          Shirehampton

-          Bedminster

-          Brislington

-          Whitchurch

Role Overview:

  • Support teaching and learning across a range of subjects across the academy.
  • Work one‑to‑one or with small groups to help students overcome barriers and stay engaged.
  • Help create and maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment — reflecting Oasis values.
  • Assist with behaviour support, lesson preparation, and general school duties.
  • Contribute to the wider academy community, helping uphold Oasis’s ethos of care, respect, and growth.

A successful educator will have:

  • A degree with a genuine passion for working with young people and helping them succeed.
  • A positive, dependable, and eager to learn.
  • Strong communication skills, able to quickly build rapport with students.
  • Any experience in tutoring, mentoring, youth work, or volunteering is beneficial but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
