Graduate Teaching Assistant, Camden

Job description

A brilliant opportunity for a recent graduate to build their experience in the education sector has just become available at one of our partner primary schools in Camden. The school are looking to take on two teaching assistants to provide additional support in their Year 2 class as they prepare for SATs over the next year. They are looking for candidates with strong English and Maths skills to provide targeted support to ensure their students can perform as well as they possibly can.

The school is a Church of England community school, (located a short walk from Camden Road and Camden Town) with a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. They were graded Ofsted 'Good' in their most recent inspection (July 2016) and their aim is to follow the example of welcoming, recognising, fostering and developing each individual.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be a university graduate
  • Have strong English and Maths skills, such that you could successfully pass Year 2 SATs
  • Have experience working with children, ideally in a classroom environment
  • Be dedicated to ensuring all children achieve their very best
  • Possess energy and enthusiasm
