Graduate Teaching Assistant - Bolton

Teaching Personnel are currently looking for graduate teaching assistants for one of our client schools based in the Bolton area.

This is a great opportunity for graduate teaching assistants if you are looking to gain further experience or are working towards securing a place on a teacher training course.

  • Full time and part time graduate teaching assistant positions available from September 2018
  • ASAP start to support secondary aged pupils (11-16) prepare for examinations
  • Ideal opportunity for any graduates considering a career as a teaching assistant or for those wanting to go on to complete a teacher training course
  • Earn between £1000 - £1200 per month whilst gaining invaluable experience towards a career in secondary education

Our client school are looking for enthusiastic and motivated teaching assistants to support key subjects in preparation for the summer exams. You must be able to assist the teacher when needed and provide support to students during lessons.

Graduate teaching assistant job responsibilities;

  • Support pupils who struggle to engage within lessons and require additional support within their studies
  • Provide KS3 and GCSE tuition sessions across a range of subjects including Maths, English, Science and Humanities
  • Lead small classes and deliver pre set revision resources
  • Track and monitor the progress made by pupils within sessions and feedback to senior management This school is in an ideal location, it is roughly a 10 minute drive to the centre of Bolton and is also easily accessible from surrounding areas Leigh, Wigan, Bury and Salford.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
