Job description

Our client secondary school located in Bolton are currently recruiting graduate teaching assistants to support within their school to provide additional tuition support to pupils in preparation for examinations.

  • Full time graduate teaching assistant roles available at this secondary school
  • Supporting KS3 and GCSE pupils within their studies including; Maths, English and Science
  • Located in Bolton close to the town centre
  • Earn up to £325 per week

This secondary school wish to employ a number of graduate teaching assistants to provide assistant support to pupils whose ages range between 11 and 16. Due to upcoming summer examinations, the Headteacher of this school wishes to appoint a number of additional teaching assistants who can ensure pupils are appropriately prepared for summer examinations.

This is the ideal opportunity for any graduates looking for the next step forward towards securing a place on a teacher training programme by gaining hands on experience providing tuition to pupils across a range of subjects. The ideal applicants will ideally have previous experience working within secondary education or have transferable skills relating to education.

Graduate teaching assistant responsibilities;

* Providing additional support to pupils in class who are currently achieving their expected grades

* Opportunities to support learning in a variety of subjects including Maths, English and Science

* Opportunity to have a positive impact on the learning of pupils you are supporting and work in partnership with other members of staff to encourage pupils progress.

This school is located on the border of Bolton and Bury close to the M61 and has strong public transport links from Bolton town centre making the surrounding areas commutable; Bury, Salford, Chorley, Rossendale, Leigh and Wigan.
