Graduate Teaching Assistant wanted in Hillingdon
Location: West Drayton
Role: KS1 Graduate Teaching Assistant
Duration: September 2022 start until the end of the academic year with the prospect of going permanent
Pay: £70-£85 per day depending on experience (paid on a weekly basis)
Summary of the School
- This school is based in West Drayton and has been given a good Ofsted report in 2020. They are currently seeking teaching assistants who will promote educational excellence, matched to the ability of each child, in a welcoming, happy and caring environment.
- The role of a teaching assistant will need to help the children to understand the world, to appreciate individual differences and to respond positively to life in a multi-ethnic society.
The Role
1) Support Teachers in planning, preparation, and delivery of lessons
2) KS1 support across all subjects
3) Keen to get involved with all areas including after school clubs, music, or cooking
4) Support children 1:1 (if necessary)
5) Confident and show initiative
6) 5 days a week or on a part time basis
Expectations of the candidate
- Able to maintain good relationships with students and staff
- Previous Education experience (preferable)
- Someone who is confident and can use own initiative
- Seeking Career progression
- Enhanced DBS

Essential requirements/training/qualifications
The Qualifications:
- A 1st or 2:1 degree
- Matching A Levels and GCSE grades
- Enhanced DBS
