Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant Vacancies Available in Newport

Job description

Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit graduates looking to get into the education sector to work with a client school based in Newport. The role requires candidates to keep pupils on task to meet their learning needs and objectives. You will be asked to work either within small groups or on a one to one basis. Trips to the shop or park may also be required when dealing with deescalating situations. The students that attend the client school may be diagnosed with autism or co-existing conditions including ADHD, learning difficulties, anxiety, Tourette's syndrome, epilepsy and or challenging behaviour.

You will be expected to work between 8:30-3:30. We offer a competitive rate of pay ranging from £54.00-£60.00 based on experience. If you have something similar in mind, but this is not the right role for you, still send over your CV as we do have other roles available.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
