Looking for a HLTA post in September?

Teaching Personnel are representing a school in South Sheffield who have a number of HLTA posts. If you are looking for a HLTA role in September, please don't hesitate to get in touch.

We are looking for someone who is HLTA qualified/who has a relevant degree, with experience of covering classes. We are looking for someone who can support the children in core subjects, so a sound knowledge of English and Maths is required. The school does have a high intake of SEN children, so an understanding of how to support children with additional needs such as ASC would be beneficial. We are looking for someone who is able to motivate and inspire children.

We currently have 3 roles for September:

  • Part time, 2 or 3 days covering PPA across year groups
  • Full time, PPA cover across school EYFS - Y6
  • Full time, taking intervention groups with some whole class teaching responsibility

Our Ideal HLTA will have:

  • Completed a Degree linked to education/looking to undertake a PGCE/HLTA qualified
  • Have good Maths and English skills
  • Experience working with children in a classroom or nursery setting
  • Be able to motivate and inspire children
  • Be keen to develop own skills - willing to undergo additional training
  • Have good diary availability

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
