Job Description:

Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a school based in the Farnborough area who are looking to appoint a graduate of Science or related degree (2.1 or above) to join them in September 2018 to deliver the national curriculum for Science. The school would initially employ the successful graduate on a cover supervisor/unqualified basis with a view to progress onto a teacher training course with the school or the school will provide a reference in order to support a future teacher training application.

The role is on a full time basis and you would be required to deliver the curriculum to students aged between 11-16. You should have suitable qualifications and be confident with your subject knowledge. The school would provide full training and support you initially with other aspects of the role such as planning your lessons and assessing students to ensure their progress.

The Role, salary and start date:

  • To deliver teaching and learning of Science to KS 3/4 and therefore help students achieve excellent academic results, and be a role-model/impact the academy more widely.
  • With support you will plan and deliver lessons and sequences of lessons that promote progress of pupils
  • To provide a nurturing classroom and academy environment that helps students to develop as learners.
  • Depending on degree and level of experience, the successful graduate will offered between £70-£90 per day meaning you could earn up £450 per week.
  • You will be required to start on the 3rd September 2018 on a full time basis
  • Permanent and temporary roles are also available
