The SENCO at a large Bolton based Secondary school is seeking a Graduate Mentor on a full time basis, starting immediately.

Due to an influx of pupils requiring additional support the Head of Inclusion wishes to appoint a resilient, passionate and hard working Graduate Mentor to work with identified pupils across Key Stages 3 and 4. This exciting opportunity is ideal for those seeking to develop their experience within an education capacity prior to going on to train to teach.

  • Full time Graduate Mentor required starting immediately.
  • Must have a degree level qualification, any previous experience will be highly advantageous.
  • Opportunity to work within an Ofsted graded 'Good' Secondary school.
  • Easily accessible via the M61 and the surrounding areas; Bury, Preston, Salford and Wigan.
  • Earn up to £1200+ per month.

This growing school has seen a complete restructure amongst the Senior Leadership Team which has created an air of drastic positive changes, which continues as a beacon within the local community. As the incoming Graduate Mentor you will be joining a welcoming staff team and highly successful department.

Your responsibilities will include but may not be limited to; providing 1:1 and small group based support to identified pupils across Key Stages 3 & 4, working with the class teacher to provide general in class support and also delivering -pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher when required.

The Secondary school has just over 1000 pupils currently enrolled, aged 11-16, and is easily accessible via the M61 and the surrounding areas; Bury, Preston, Salford and Wigan. There are also numerous public transport options readily available with links across Greater Manchester.
