We are currently on the lookout for a Mathematics Graduate who is interested in becoming a teacher to fill a role in one of our 'Good' schools in Shaftesbury. The ideal candidate should have some previous experience working with young people, as you will be leading lessons for around 20 pupils and therefore a strong command of students' attention and behaviour control is necessary. Ideally, candidates applying for this role should also be able to keep students on-track to achieve, or even exceed, their targets.

OVERVIEW

  • Role commencing after Easter
  • Delivering Maths curriculum to KS3-KS4 in accordance to exam board specifications
  • Long-term, full-time position
  • Ensuring high achievement creatively, with consideration towards the unique needs of each pupil
  • Pay rates ranging from £300-350 per week
  • Opportunities to develop skills and experience on your CV-growing your appeal as a candidate for future jobs
  • Possibility of a longer contract at the school's discretion if the candidate is particularly successful during exam season
