Graduate Learning Support Assistant

Teaching Personnel are working exclusively with an exceptional school in Exeter. The school specialise in providing education for children that struggle to achieve their best in mainstream schools. The children have learning and/or behavioural difficulties and require flexible. engaging learning support assistants to enable them to achieve their best.

Experience working in an educational environment isn't essential, but the right work ethic and willingness to learn is necessary. The children are given a bespoke learning curriculum based on their academic ability an interests, and therefore spend a lot of time in alternative learning environments in Exeter (museums, local community, outdoor learning environments). However, the school realise that it is important to not only develop their pupils' academic ability, but also their emotional, social, and mental health well-being; strong support networks are put in place.

Candidates must:

• Be able to drive and have access to a car daily.
• Be available full time (Monday - Friday 8:30 - 3:30) from September 2018.
