Teaching Personnel are currently in the process of recruiting for recent University Graduates who are seeking employment in a school this coming September in Leeds!

Graduates required for a group of SEN schools and Alternative Provisions in Leeds!

  • Do you have a degree in Education Studies, Childhood Studies, Psychology, Social Work, Youth Work or Sports?
  • Are you looking to further your career within the Education Sector?
  • Are you interested in supporting learners with Additional and Special Educational Needs?

Teaching Personnel are seeking graduates who are interested in pursuing a career in Mental Health, Special Needs or Education. Successful candidates will be required to provide specialist support for pupils in Outstanding Schools in Leeds. This is a highly rewarding role, giving aspiring teachers vital experience and the chance to gain an understanding of children aged 4-16 years.

Based Leeds, the schools are just a maximum of a 15 minute drive from the City Centre, and is easily accessible by public transport.

As a Learning Mentor, you will have a desire to work with young people and aim to make a real difference to a child's life. Experience of working with Primary School aged children is desirable, and any extra training such as; Team Teach, Moving and Handling, First Aid or Safeguarding is highly desirable.

We are looking for hard working and committed individuals who would be confident and happy working with pupils of all ability levels. The following are essential to the role:

  • Be proactive and resilient to the nature of the role
  • Experience supporting children or adults
  • A minimum of grade A-C English and Maths at GCSE
