Are you a graduate looking for experience within the education sector? Are you considering applying for a Teacher Training programme?

Are you looking to provide flexible tuitions in your specialist area during hours suitable to your University timetable?

If so, Teaching Personnel are keen to hear from you!

With a number of opportunities coming up, we are looking to recruit a number of core subject graduates in the following areas:

  • English
  • Maths
  • Science
  • Sport
  • Psychology
  • Humanities
  • IT and computing

About the role

Tutor - Provides tuitions to students within their specialist area. This may be carried out on school site, within the students home (full risk assessment conducted) or via an online platform. Tuitions tend to be between 1 to 2 hours and are usually carried out on a 1.1 basis. A full referral would be provided and links with the students classroom teacher can be set up. 

Pay - GBP25 per hour.

Future Teacher - Our future teacher scheme was designed to address the national shortages of teachers across the UK, whilst also providing experience to those considering a career in teaching. You will receive access to a bundle of FREE training and will be given the valuable opportunity to work within schools which take on trainee teachers. Within the school roles could include working as a Teaching Assistant, Mentor, within the Inclusion Unit or as a Cover Supervisor (full training provided).

Pay - GBP60 to GBP90 per day.

 

To be considered, you must:

  • Be interactive, adaptable and outgoing
  • Be in the process, or have completed, your degree
  • Have a minimum of 5 GCSE's graded 4-9 (A*-C) including English and Maths
  • Hold, or be willing to obtain a fully Enhanced DBS - Child workforce

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
