History graduates are required from September 2020 to join the Graduate Teacher Internship. Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with secondary schools across South Manchester to recruit History graduates that are seeking experience before starting a teacher training programme. Role: Full-time Hisotry Graduate Teacher Internship
Location: Manchester
Requirements:
- A degree in History (or a related field)
- A passion for working alongside young people.
- Future aspirations to work within the realm of teaching.
From: September 2020 start for one academic year.
Key aspects of the role:
- Learning how to plan, deliver and assess lessons across KS3 and KS4 in line with the National Curriculum. -
- Supporting Historyteachers to ensure students can reach full potential, working on a 1:1 and group basis with students.
- Gain invaluable experience, and support onto a future teacher training programme (2021)
- Opportunities to access additional training courses to ensure you are an outstanding History teacher of the future.
- Learn about key day to day factors that affect a school.
The internship will see the applicant take on the following roles:
- Cover Supervisor - covering lessons due to staff absences.
- Teaching Assistant - working with students with SEN, as well as those who require EAL support.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
