Are you a graduate considering a career in teaching? Would you like paid work experience in schools to help you decide if becoming a teacher is right for you?

Teaching Personnel are seeking graduates who are aspiring to become a teacher, to undertake our Graduate Future Teachers Programme. The Future Teachers Programme allows you to gain invaluable teaching experience, working in a number of different roles within our client's secondary school and getting paid for it. As a Graduate Future Teacher you will be given on the job training, whilst experience a number of roles, such as;

• Working as a Teaching Assistant within your Specialist subject area
• Learning how to plan, deliver and assess lessons of your own
• Covering lessons in the absence of the class teacher
• Providing interventions within your specialist area
• Receiving weekly training through the secondary school

The Graduate Future Teachers Programme is a full time on the job teaching training scheme, which last for the full academic year. This will allow you to get a good feel of what the role of a teacher entails and what working at a secondary school is like.

The Future Teachers Programme is designed to work as an introduction to provide you with invaluable school based experience prior to training to teach. You will receive excellent support from staff to help you build on your experience. With continued support through observations and termly reviews, with your senior mentors you can expect to receive continued feedback in relevant areas.
