Teaching Personnel, the UK's largest Education Recruitment Agency, are expanding in our Northampton office. We are seeking a full-time, permanent Education Recruitment Consultant to join our Secondary team of talented Education Recruitment Consultants and supportive Managers who are always striving for excellence.

What does an Education Recruitment Consultant do?

  • Make a high volume of sales and business development calls to schools across your local region
  • Source and recruit quality teachers and carry out interviews
  • Have regular face-to-face client visits to build relationships with key decision makers in schools in order to successfully service your given client schools
  • Create quality marketing and advertising

To be a successful Education Recruitment Consultant you need to be outgoing, an excellent communicator and extremely organised. Ideally, you will have previous sales experience or knowledge of the secondary education sector, however this is not essential. Additionally, you will need to have a valid full UK Driving License and access to a vehicle (we will also consider applicants who are currently learning to drive).

Teaching Personnel review performance regularly and you will qualify for promotions 4 times per year, we have a specific career path for Education Recruitment Consultants to progress and become branch managers. Our business is organic and almost all management started their career at Teaching Personnel as a Trainee Consultant.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
