As the market leader within Education Recruitment, Teaching Personnel Manchester are seeking an Education Recruitment Consultant on a full-time permanent basis to join their SEN team. Situated in the heart of central Manchester, just 5 minutes' walk from Piccadilly Gardens, the successful applicant will be joining a team of talented Education Recruitment Consultants and supportive managers who are always striving for excellence!

Key responsibilities include:

  • Making a high volume of sales and business development calls to schools across your local region
  • Sourcing and recruiting quality teachers and carrying out interviews
  • Having regular face-to-face client visits to build relationships with key decision makers in schools in order to successfully service your given client schools
  • Creating quality marketing and advertising

To be a successful Education Recruitment Consultant; you need to be outgoing, an excellent communicator and extremely organised. Ideally, you will have previous sales experience and knowledge of the SEN education sector, however, this is not essential. Additionally, you will need to have a valid full UK Driving License and access to a vehicle (we will also consider applicants who are currently learning to drive).

Teaching Personnel have a specific career path for Education Recruitment Consultants to progress, we review performance regularly and you may qualify for promotions 4 times per year! Our business is organic and almost all management started their career at Teaching Personnel as a Trainee Consultant.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
