Graduate Cover Supervisor - North Manchester

Are you a recent graduate thinking about a career in secondary education?

Teaching Personnel are working closely alongside one of our partner secondary schools in North Manchester who are seeking a motivated and hard working graduate to join their staffing team as a Cover Supervisor. This role would have an immediate start and would last until July, with a high potential of continuing into the new academic year from September for the perfect candidate.

• Full time Cover Supervisor required immediately
• Graduates encouraged to apply
• Flexible working schedule (part-time hours available)
• Earn up to £1200 a month (paid in weekly instalments)

Our mixed comprehensive partner secondary school based in the Whitworth area of Rochdale, North Manchester is smaller than average with just over 600 students enrolled from the local towns of Wardle, Millgate and Healey. The school has a Progress 8 score of 0.14 which is in line with the national average, and shows that the pupils in attendance make good progress.

Working as a Cover Supervisor at our client school, you will:

• Supervise students in lessons when the class teacher is absent
• Ensure the school's behaviour policy is being follow thoroughly
• Be personable and enjoy working with young people
• Have good behaviour management skills

Experience working in secondary schools is desirable but not essential for prospective applicants of this role. Candidates who have experience of youth work and sports coaching are usually very successful as Cover Supervisors.
