Teaching Personnel are seeking a dedicated and reliable Cover Supervisor to work across a range of schools in the South Manchester area. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising classes during the short-term absence of teachers, ensuring that students stay on task and complete set work. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively, and a flexible approach to working in different educational settings.

Throughout this role, you will work on a flexible basis where you will be able to manage your own diary and work on your chosen days.

You will earn a competitive salary between £85 and £95 per day.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise classes in the absence of the regular teacher.
  • Manage student behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment.
  • Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure students engage with the material.
  • Support students with their learning and provide assistance as needed.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a school setting is desirable but not essential.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt to different teaching environments.
  • A passion for education and supporting student learning.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
