An amazing and rewarding opportunity has become available at an 'OUTSTANDING' Independent school based in Ealing. They are seeking to appoint graduates and experienced support staff with proven interest or experience supporting social difficulties, mental health and behavioural needs.

This outstanding school provide education for pupils at risk of exclusion with social and emotional difficulties, ADHD and high functioning autism. The school adopt a holistic and therapeutic approach to learning with individualised learning plans for pupils and are seeking driven and resilient learning support assistants to start immediately and in September.

Due to the abilities of the students it is vital that successful candidates are confident in academic teaching, planning, accessing and student development.

Requirements:

  • 8:00 - 4:15pm Monday - Friday commitment (school term time)
  • Proven interest and/or experience supporting social and behavioural difficulties
  • Live in the borough of Ealing or be able to travel to West Ealing daily
  • Driven, pro-active and resilient personality

This role is a temporary to permanent position with those successful after the trial period offered a permanent after a term 20 working weeks within the school.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
