Teaching Personnel is looking for someone who is experienced in taking care of pupils who have emotional behavioral challenges. The school prides itself in giving every child the opportunity to succeed regardless of learning difficulties. The school is based near Newham and has local transport links.
The role:
- To work closely with key staff to reduce levels of unauthorized absence and improve levels of attendance and behavior
- To establish productive working relationships with pupils, acting as a role model and mentor.
- Work 1:1 or in small groups, to aid learning and development with children who are disengaged
- Contribute to raising attainment and closing the gap amongst peers.
The candidate:
- Must be passionate about working with children who have come from an under-privileged background
- General interest in helping students perform better in schools and contribute to providing them with better learning opportunities
- Available Immediately
- Valid DBS/CRB
