Due to an upcoming gap within the Geography department of our partner secondary school, Teaching Personnel are seeking a Geography Teacher ahead of the new academic year. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Geography teacher to work in one of the most reputable schools within the local area:

This position represents an excellent opportunity for a Geography teacher to join our partner secondary school on a long term basis from September. It is suited to either a newly qualified teacher seeking their first post or an experienced Geography teacher as full support will be given within the role. Further, all departments across the school work collaboratively to ensure Good-to-Outstanding lessons are consistently delivered.

Geography is a popular subject at the school with results achieved consistently above the national average. The Head of Geography is an experienced teacher who is passionate about the development of staff within their department. They also strive to make Geography an attractive subject to choose at Key Stage 4 due to the comprehensive curriculum offered.

Our partner secondary is a larger than average secondary school which currently caters for over 1500 pupils. It is situated in the heart of South Manchester close to the surroundings areas of Withington and Levenshulme. The areas of Stockport and Chorlton are only a short drive away. Further, it is also ideally situated for those requiring public transport due to the nearby tram links.
