The school is a personalised community which is committed to creating careers for people. It is experienced in supporting NQTs and indeed enjoys this aspect of staff development but it has had equal success in fostering the careers of colleagues who join having taught in other schools or have had other careers.

Teachers provide outstanding Geography teaching at the school with generous resources and all teachers have their own classroom which includes a range of interactive technology.
