Geography Teacher - Secondary - NQT/QTS - Bolton

Teaching Personnel are seeking a Geography Teacher for our outstanding client school, based in Bolton, ahead of the academic year 2018.

Due to an opening in the humanities department, the opportunity to join a dedicated staff team, leading Geography has arisen for the successful candidate.

  • Permanent, full time Geography position, September 2018.
  • Mixed high achieving secondary, 11-16.
  • Advance Geography Teacher role for the right candidate within a supportive leadership system.

  • Pay in line with MPS/UPS (£22,917-£38,633)

The successful Geography teacher's duties will include;

  • Deliver paramount Geography lessons, using creative and student centred teaching methods.
  • Demonstrate a progressive teaching style focused on raising student attainment.
  • Lead, plan and monitor work and report back to management or senior leadership.
  • Exhibit a positive behaviour management attitude in and outside the classroom.

This growing secondary school, with 1032 pupils on roll, aged 11-16, rated 'Outstanding' in all areas by Ofsted, have an enthusiastic staff team all working towards the development of the school and the experience of their pupils. All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
