Geography teacher required in secondary school in Bournemouth

  • School graded 'good' in most recent OFSTED report
  • Work as part of a large humanities department supported by senior leadership
  • Pay from M2 FTE

A school in Bournemouth are currently looking to recruit a Geography teacher for a full-time position starting as soon as possible. This is a temporary position, with the option to apply for a permanent role at the end of 1 terms contract.

The role would be teaching both Key Stage 3 and GCSE geography with the support of an experienced humanities department. The behaviour of the students at the school requires somebody who is confident with behaviour management and the school are keen to emphasize the possible longevity of the role.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
