Teacher of Geography/ Humanities wanted in Sittingbourne Secondary School

Teaching Personnel is currently working with a large Secondary school in Sittingbourne seeking a Geography/ Humanities teacher.

The school are seeking a teacher of Geography/ Humanities to join their team, on a part time basis. As part of the role you will be covering lessons within the Humanities Department, and so a degree background in Geography, Humanities or a similar subject is desired but not essential. The school is a modern building with excellent access to resources, friendly students and staff and opportunities for professional development.

As well as flexible working hours, working with Teaching Personnel gives you access to the 'CPD Academy', which is great for those looking to develop their skills and aspiring teachers. Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a number of leading, nationally recognised CPD providers to deliver an extensive range of career developing opportunities, covering areas such as; Autism Awareness Training, Child Protection, Team-Teach training, NASEN – supporting SEN, Moving and Manual Handling and more.

With pay rates of £60-£100 per day depending on experience, this really is an excellent opportunity!

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
